HAREID ELEKTRISKE AS

Hareid Elektriske AS is based in the municipality of Hareid, in the midst of an active and leading maritime environment of shipyards, shipping companies and suppliers on the north-west coast of Norway.

The company was established in 1950 by Steinar Teigene, and has over the years a significant development.

The company started early with ship installation, and rapidly developed. In the beginning of the 1970s they got involved in what would prove to be the company's largest business area; ship installation on new construction ships at Norwegian shipyards. Brick by brick, the company continued to grow and increased both in volume and revenue.

Today Hareid Elektriske AS is an active group, located several places along the Norwegian coast, in Denmark and in Poland. The company has a solid foundation for stable, constant development through ownership of family businesses Bjåstadbakken AS and AS Jeasimo each with approximately 40%, and employees with a stake of approximately 20%.

The company's business areas are land, industrial and marine installations, as well as trade. The company's growth and success is due to much hard work and determination, and most importantly, dedicated employees and management.
